Future teaching assignments are on a semester-by-semester basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.

JOB SUMMARY: The adjunct faculty member teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in programming, database management, computer networking and other related areas in computer information systems and /or  computer science on campus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Earned M.S. in Information Systems / Computer Science or a related area. Must possess minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards, which normally include a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area or suitable approved justification. Successful candidates must demonstrate potential for effective teaching and research in Information Systems / Computer Science. Candidates with industry experience and/or earned industry-recognized technical certifications are encouraged to apply.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

Earned doctorate in Information Systems / Computer Science or a related area. Demonstrate excellence in teaching and published research in Information Systems / Computer Science.

SALARY: Paid per class
