Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working with students in an academic environment

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree

  • Experience in the education system

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor - Works with assigned student-athletes to develop a professional relationship to maximize their academic potential. Provides general instruction in study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking skills. Guides student-athletes in the development of time management and in developing organizational skills. Develops strategies for the student-athlete’s individual learning style. Creates daily progress reports using on-line system. Collaborates with Scholastic Supervisors as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
