Job Responsibilities:

40%:  Using advanced knowledge in a field of science or learning, administer the Interdisciplinary Degree Program (IDP) in Genetics and the Texas A&M University Institute for Genome Sciences and Society (TIGSS)- Developing, initiating, preparing and coordinating multi-investigator genetics and genomics research training grants.


25%  Support the conduct of research activities of the Genetics IDP and TIGSS including recruiting and outreach efforts


20%: Apply knowledge of the field of Genetics and Genomics for coordinating career training and advising graduate students


10%:  Participate and receive training in the research program's business administration activities


5%:  Other job related duties as required
